About offline access & privacy

The app caches its program files so you can generate passwords offline. No master passphrase or generated password is written to app storage. If your browser removes the cached files, reconnect to download the app again. Test it in airplane mode before relying on it away from home.

The original DPG-v1 algorithm runs in WebAssembly using scrypt and HMAC-SHA-256. Browser and operating-system memory management can retain copies of text; this app cannot guarantee complete memory erasure. Copying a password puts it on your system clipboard. Secrets are cleared from the interface when the app is hidden, but the clipboard remains under your control.

Different subdomains remain distinct, except leading “www.”. Links are processed locally; redirects are never followed. This app does not automatically log you into websites.
